Failed MOT, will i didn't as we own the garage but it'll still need replacing!

Reno want...wait for it 350£ for 2 springs - Trade price, not sure what it would be to you's!

Considering my options here...H&R's...KW?? I've got no experience of either.

Mossy how do you find yours, what did you pay and from whom...?

My H&R's cost £900 and were a piece of piss to fit :approve:

But get them tracked up afterwards to gain the true benefits.

The ride is not far of the original set up but a lot better through the twisties, further confidence
has been gained since the coilovers have been matched with the seats, just got to get the
diddy steering wheel fitted now and then it will be a true GO KART!! :race:

Nah mk1 set up is completely different, Had an interesting chat with the guy from Eibach about the mk1 and mk2.

Thing is i have no idea when it broke, car feels fine! :S wooops

Can get H&R's through the garage for 760£ losin the VAT, so it's not too horendous! Plus then i'll be able to get some rear camber on the car. 2birds if you will.

But at the mo, money is maginally tight. So if anyone knows of any mk2 springs gi's a shout.

Just out of interest how much were you looking for.

Are they rear springs that break or front ones. What is the difference between mk1 and mk2, how do i know if ive got mk1 struts or mk2 ones as they were second hand at a breakers.

I've getting a set made for me, racing contacts. 4mm lower and 20% stiffer. Will test them on track and let you's all know. Rear shocks are bein machined to allow for more camber.

test them on a good bumpy b-road too...

i fancy some of them...but dont want the car too stiff as this can mean bad news on mid corner bumps where the car is already vunerable

Will do, get the koni's bak in a wk, there getting overhauled and the springs are getting send up in 8days or something. Off to spain tomo anyhoo, do it's sitting lookin sorry for itself on 4 axle stands.
