Brightwells Auction ph1 230. no 438 V6 PBS

Not sold. along with at least a third of all the lots. Indicative of all classic car auctions this year with the brakes going on. For example Bonhams have an Aston Martin only auction each year with normally record prices and a handful of unsold lots at most out of 50 plus cars, yet this year they had 50% unsold !

I went to the Brightwells auction and it was like being in a nasty 2nd hand car yard! Many truly awful cars, and not a lot of bidders.

The cars were all locked up so couldn't be examined inside, under the bonnet or in the boot. The classic car auction there has far more interesting lots, with full access.

I liked the Porsche 928 that struggled to £400....that would have looked nice in the barn with the chickens sitting on it, and was very good value as a spares car. I looked over the Vee and it wasn't too interesting, and a bit lack-luster. The headlamps are very sun damaged, which I guess means it's been left outside most of it's life.
