Brake upgrade!

Hey,
I'm looking for information about fitting Megan's 280mm front brakes for 19 16V. I have all the stuff; wheel bearing carriers things, 280mm discs, brake calipers - all the stuff from 2000 Megans 1,6 16V. Only thing whats different is shock mounting thickness what is 4mm thiker than 19's. Clio 172 use the same brakes in front.
Next thing is to remove Bendix ABS system- its not working for a while, but then I want to fit there Meg's servo unit too. Only bad thing about it all is to seem that never fit 14" wheels anymore?

Any information is welcome.

meg's shock's need macthing up with the megane hub's. TBH, you be better off going the 285mm Renault 21 setup.

I want to use 19's standard shocks, I adjust Meg's hubs to fit 19'S shocks there. I think megs brakes are better than 21's its so muchs newer.

I don't know of anyone thats done it.

You can remove the bendix and keep the 16v discs and calipers

But what brake servo unit to use then: I have one R19's and one Megan's what is lots bigger (does it fit to 19). I heard that someone have used Kangoo servo - what is diameter of that?

I used the servvo from a 1.4 19 in my 16v

the 16V is different to the 1.4's. The 1.4's is deeper and smaller dia, the 16v's is a larger dia and thinnner, its just for clearence though I think.

Both do the same thing and both fit.

But does Meg's servo fit too. Its lot bigger than 19 not 16V one. Does I can use standard brake pipes if I remove ABS or I need to replace these. My steeringwheel is in left side.

Now the ABS is gone and meg's hubs and brakes are fitted, new front brake pipes too. Brake servo is too from Meg's - it fits very tight but it fits. Now the broblem is rear brake bleeding -no bleed screws they are welded. Can I still bleed those rear brakes?
Pedal feel is much better now.
