Brake Pads

Rossington

New Member
Hey all,

My Vee is in need of some new pads, i'll go the distance and get front and rear.
I do however have those AP Racing discs...can anybody advise me on which pads i should be looking at?
(preferably some good ones).

I'm a little stumped and Renaults come in at £450 odd for rears alone...

Just bumping this one up again, cars just failed its MOT.
Where would you recommend getting 2x rear disc's from?
(to suit the AP Racing / EBC bits).

Dryclough are going to arrange recondition of the calipurs as they're siezed.

Thanks. I really am learning as i go along here.
Sadly know very little about brakes although im picking it up, slowly :)

Ordered 2x rears and 2x fronts whilst im at it, all in for £149.23, slightly different than the £500 per disc odd OEM ones.

Dryclough are struggling to get the standard Renault brake pads to fit these Apec discs for the rears, Rear APEC number is DSK2845 300mm disc.
Are the EBC Redstuff Brake Pads DP31526C smaller or something as Ricks saying the standard Renault pads are just too big for the disc's i've provided.

RPD doesn't give dimensions on their site but i can see EBC are 131mm x 73mm x 17mm.
