Brake Lights

My brake lights are on all the time even when lights are not on how do I to sort it out, [smilie=icon_exclaim.gif] thanks in advance

Sounds like corrosion of the bulb holders or rear wiring loom.

Possible brake light switch behind pedal stuck open.

My guess would be brake light switch. Had to sort this issue with my daily recently. Very simple fix. You can easily diagnose it by putting your foot behind the brake pedal and pulling towards you. Brake lights should go off if it's the switch.

If it is the switch (standard part) then have a sneaky look at a Clio Haines manual how to change it. Mine was just a sticky contact so didn't need replacing though.
