Brake fluid change

BigfellaV6

I've had my V6 in at my local indy for a cambelt service. They mentioned my brake fluid is indicating red but were reluctant to change the fluid due to the nipples having corroded & may shear.

Anybody come across this on their V6 & is there an easy fix?

Yes Steve Plain had similar issue with ours, not so much bad corrosion but he didn't want to risk shearing nipples so he changed fluid and unscrewed brake lines to bleed. I did try sourcing some correct nipples for ap calipers but failed at the time.

The front calipers bleed nipples aren't unique to Clio v6. You should be able to get them from automotive shops that sell AP Racing products.

If that fails, I have a spare extra set because the shop I bought from misunderstood I wanted 4 in total, not 4 packs (a pair in one pack).

Apologies for the late response but could I accept your offer on the extra pack of bleed nipples?

Regards
