brake discs

Has anyone had there brake discs machined?

Just mine have a slight warp and thought about taking them to work and putting them on the lathe?.

Can anyone see there being a problem with this.
 
No problem in doing it yourself mate, i do all my own discs at work. saves paying someone else to do it.
I even had a fixture made up at my old work to make it easier for gripping in the chuck, forgot to take it with me when i left tho
 
Holding the disc was one of the worries that i had, may have to fabricate something like what you sugested
