Bonnet sensor goin off

VII Car Care

New Member
When I lock her. I disturbed it when taking the front grill out, now when I lock her it beeps constantly. Not sure if it has anything to do with the bonnet sensor as I connected it back up the same as I removed it?

Any help would be great :thumb

The beeping constantly means somethings open.

My money is on the sensor not being connected properly, I would check that again.

Obviously youve carefully checked that all the doors and tailgate are shut

lol, yeh ok boys! my little helper connected it wrong! All sorted now [smilie=icon_cheers.gif]

Grills are looking very very nice :D

Ahhhhhh, just after we bought our Vee, its battery failed. When I put a fresh battery on, the alarm came to life and started emitting short bleeps then went berserk! The only way to silence it was to use the door locking button next to the ash tray, but the next time the central looking was activated, it started all over again. Renault couldn't sort it, so we had it disabled. I wonder if it was a sensor problem! Before Renault disabled it, we tried it with all the doors shut and I had my finger on the bonnet sensor but it still went off! [smilie=icon_aaargh.gif]
