Hi all,

After a wonderful day in the sun tinkering, the bonnet was slammed shut without removing my battery isolator key... so pulled the handle and nothing happened!
Is there another way of accessing the latch without cutting a hole in the bonnet!

After a wonderful day in the sun tinkering, the bonnet was slammed shut without removing my battery isolator key... so pulled the handle and nothing happened!
Is there another way of accessing the latch without cutting a hole in the bonnet!

Quite common happen to me when cable eye came off the latch, from memory I accessed the hinge bolts through the front grill which gave enough lift To use a long bar or similar to push the catch manually

Broom handle does the trick

Thank both, I did try the long handle approach but found the lasoo method worked splendid. Cheers
