Fitted my BMC filter on Saturday. Sounds amazing now twinned with the quicksilver. Can't wait for a few tunnel runs! :)

Is there a pic or vid I cant see at work? Hopefully get something to go with the quicksilver myself!

The quicksilver and BMC sound amazing when combined. Had them both on my phase one too. Keep driving around with my passenger window down now to hear the growl it makes. Not sure what the Pipercross is like in comparison but plenty of threads on here about them both. Got it for £85.

Not the one you buy - the guy I bought it from had done all of that seperate. Looks nice when it's all in though.

when i fitted my bmc the cold air feed it smaller that the hole in the car (if u know what i mean ) so rather than over it and securing with a jubilee clip it sits inside it, its a pretty tight fit tho, any 1 else have this problem?

Yeah, I had this problem. Probably need some proper replacement ducting - needs to be researched and wiki'd.
Clarkie at Carlton Garages ( [smilie=bowdown.gif] ) made some changes to mine and now it breathes a lot better. Not sure what he did though...

I've been looking into this previously.

Can we get some more pics / details on the silicone hose solution used.

Cheers

Yes please. :approve: I believe a few other BMC users have been looking for a better inlet piping solution for some time.

Hi,

Nope sorry Peter. they are the same as the inlets of the V6 air box though if that helps.

Matt.
