bluefin - from superchips. If you look in the demon tweeks performance 2006 catalogue page 205 under non turbo cars is the reno clio v6 sport priced at 289.00 fitted. Has any1 got 1 on there v6? They are made by superchips, are they any good?

yeh, its some sort of superchip, once its fitted you can plug in a handset in the drivers seat and set it up to the drivers reqiurments. It claims to give 10% power and torque.

10% is optimistic. Thats 23-25bhp. I doubt you will get that with a chip unless you have had other mod's.

Bluefin, I believe, is for some Fords and BMW mini.
I think you'll find the big list on p205 is for the Superchip which will gain you approx 10bhp and similar torque. I used to have one which I found improved throttle response but it won't make a noticeable difference to your performance.
I think there is a dyno chart on Superchips website showing the gains. Note that the standard Mk1 V6 only made 215bhp at the fly!

Yeh just noticed this, is this a worth while mod or am i better waiting and getting a motech upgrade ecu and remap on the rollers?

£290 for 10bhp is fair value.
You won't get bigger power gains without spending money unfortunately. Look at what a filter costs for 2-3 bhp. A complete decatted exhaust for £1000 might gain 10bhp at very best.
Motec + loom + fitting + mapping £3000-£4000 probably. Only worthwhile if you have lots of other modifications.
