Bleed clutch/brake fluid

Hi!

I have a Ph1 and Im new to these cars, have just bought one Its in the garage over the winter, I live in Sweden = cold and snow in the winter time. Im going to do a major service on my car since I cant use it anyway.

Im going to start with the brakes/clutch fluid, I know what type and so on but I havent seen anywere how to bleed/flush the clutch fluid? Does anyone have a guide or have pictures that I can look at?

Also the rear brakes, weres the bleed nipple on those? The fronts I have located, 2 on each side but cant seem to find it on the rears?

Hope you can help me, Im probably going to write a lot of these threads about different things (that is not in the guide or when I search the forums).

Thanks James, must have missed that.

What I still doesnt get is were the damn bleed screw for the rear calipers is? I must be blind but I dont see it. Someone has a pic?

Also, my brake bleed nipples (front) are rusty, were do I buy those? I have checked ebay and so on but I dont know what size to get, the spanner i tried for those on my calipers are number 11 if that helps.

If you are posting about the bleed nipples they dont have a partnumber for those (if you look in dialogys), thats why Im asking. But maybe I can call Renault and ask but if any of you here have replaced those let me know.

the bleed nipple is on the top of the calliper, inside of the disc. pretty near where the handbrake cable hooks up, should be obvious!

I looked but diddnt see it, does it look like the ones on the front calipers?

it looks like every other bleed nipple I have ever seen. maybey it has a rubber cap over it? Only one on the rears though.

Perhaps a torch and camera may be helpful in showing us?

This is the caliper, the bleed nipple is the goldy couloured part sticking out, the dust cap has been removed and is hanging next to it.

this is the caliper in the position it would be on the car.

eastlmark and James, big thank you! I have never seen a bleed nipple that is under the caliper. I would have never found it without those pictures

Can i bleed the brakes without the car being on? Ive read somewere that some cars does have to have the engine running in order to bleed the brakes corectly, any thoughts?
