I still cannot believe he actually thought painting all his grilles red would be a good look?! :rollseyes:

They can't just be painted back cause they are not a painted finish as standard, so to be original it would need new grilles all round and that = ££££££!

I looked at this in January before buying mine..car looked ok, but had a deep dish non standard steering wheel and the nearside had been repainted at sometime, i considered it but he had no receipts for the cambelt being changed !

Mick did you do a hpi check on it? not such a good sign that its been repainted and that someone noticed.

cam belt i kinda think can be haggled in price. a sort of im gana drive it straight to k-tec and get it done.

No i didn't get as far as doing a HPI check.

The cambelt may have been done but i felt it was important to see some receipts for any work done.

The paintwork was ok but i could tell it had been done at some time.

I'm pretty sure he had the original steering wheel...the deep dish wheel obviously had no controls for the stereo/cruise and if i remember correctly the horn button was on the centre console.The stereo may have been changed as well ?

i asked him if there were any other mods (specifically the interior) other than pics and what stated and he says no.
so maybe he's put steering wheel back on.

ive asked where cam belt was done as he says only proof is stamp in book.
