Black Gold ME04

VII Car Care

New Member
On London Road tonight, first time I have seen It. Was quite strange seeing another one! Disserpointing In a way as I thought these beasts were a rare breed....

I was In the vee going down there to pick up my nephew but changed cars before I took him back other wise I'd have flashed him!

Hey Guys & Gal,

Just spotted this thread.

Yeah...that was me.

I'm not much of big 'forum poster'.....except maybe Pistonheads.

I do the odd bit of lurking, but generally don't have too much time to spend on the forums that much these days, which is why you don't see me on here much. Seem to be spending a lot of time working just trying to make by....but I guess a lot of us are in that boat.

Little update since I've owned it;

I've worn a smile since the day I picked it up.

I can safely say that, despite some people's reservations, the car hasn't skipped a beat in 8 months of daily driving!

Am currently waiting for Scott to get back to me about about some work I'd like done too (eyeing up a nice LSD).

You'll probably catch me driving around a fair bit if you live around High Wycombe or Beaconsfield, as I live up in Penn, and work in GX.

Haven't seen many other Vee's since ownership, though I'm pretty sure I must have followed you once Dawn when I had my R32 a year or so ago (can't be many Black Golds in Wycombe). The only other one I can remember seeing was a Silver Phase 1 on London road on my way to football one time.

I'll have to keep an eye out for you other Bucks owners on the road :race:
