Just leaving there now! Sunday night and Scott came out to open up the garage to receive my dead Vee.

When it does start my vee gets from Southend to Buckinghamshire and then on to Wiltshire lol

It clearly prefers Scotts company to yours James.. lol

Glad you made it there safely! Scott really does go out of his way to help us out..! :approve:

.......and another thanks to Scott for taking even more trouble to fit my starter. My manifolds and "stuff" got in the way = bigger job.

I'm dropping my car of on Monday to Scott at S G Motorsport....intend to catch a train home, does anyone know the nearest train station to him ?

Tried phoning him today but no answer and want to book in advance a ticket

Mick

I picked mine up from SG yesterday.
I came from the other direction.
Scott picked me up from chippenham station.

I took mine to SG on Guilliame --- sorry, 'williams' recommendation and scott was very good.
The car is quite new to me so he gave the car a good look over, emailed me a list, I told him what bit's i'd want done, he priced it up and I said yes or no (yes !).
I'd recommend him to anyone.

Yet again more big thanks to Scott.

Collected the Vee today from its winter stay at the health farm. Runs perfectly and all the new shiny bits look great!

Telt LOL Haven't heard proper speak for a very long time. :-)

Just new standard things that needed replacing, discs, pads, ac motor, washer pumps, wheels etc. Service and MOT (flew through it)

I like to use genuine parts because Scott puts the part numbers on the invoice and they come in handy on the forum.

Bloody hell, A/c Pump & Washer pump! Another issue caused by GDi?!

Shouldnt be doing that on the forum Ali

Whats that Tim, naming GDI? If so.. so what.. they were shocking! Makes by blood boil, the tricks they got up to.

Have a good Christmas, hope you manage to get some time to yourself in between making other folks Christmas's an enjoyable one! :approve:
