Anyone replaced theirs yet? Noticed one of mine could do with replacing in the near future so wondered if anyone had used alternative parts on them yet?

Any reason why I shouldnt?

Don't suppose that you have the part number for the nearside do you? May as well go to Reno at that price.

Replaced wish bones and ball joints on front of mine and suspension top mounts. MAde such a difference.

Euro Car Parts sell them

Scrabble or anyone else, have you got a part number for the ball joints? As the ones I ordered from Eurocar parts were far too small.

Does anyone have the reno part number I dont mind going through them if I have too.

6020010816 Balljoint R (they're handed but this should give you a starting point). Cost was £107.71 exc VAT in July this year.

You should just be able to phone up the parts dept of any main dealer, quote your reg no and they'll be able to locate the correct part nos.

Thanks - what a difference in price! Theyre £10 or so in Eurocar parts, however that was for the wrong part! If I have no luck sourcing from them, then its off to main dealer.

are you talking front or rear?
Front ones are an odity as they are priced at £107 each, but order a wishbone, around £50 and you get a complete wishbone with ball joint........which wont fit a vee as its a spider item. Hence to change front ball joint and wishbone you need to order both parts and remove the fitted ball joint and bin it (or sell it to a spider owner). only renault!
