5 GT Turbo B18FT GEARBOX

Hi there does anyone know if a quaife ATB LSD from a Renault 5 GT Turbo will fit a B18ft Gearbox. I have been lead to believe that both gearboxes are pretty much the same but the Volvo one is slightly better. any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards josh

You should be able to fit the 5 GT Turbo LSD diff into the B18FT gearbox

Yeah, the m59/60 boxes are similar to jb5 boxes. The 60 has a taller 5th, but both are supposed to have stronger syncro's.

would anyone possibly know if a clio sport 182 clutch which is 215mm 22x26T. would work with my flywheel etc that i have which is the 215mm version. have been having trouble finding a clutch kit sufficient enuff. was wanting a helix 4 paddle but can't seem to find the right one.
any help would be appreciated.

Yes that's fine, I assume it's the same as a 172 one, but use the fork too as that's longer, and you may need to extend the bkt. It will be very close to the rad though!

I assume it is. I forget which now but I think the sachs clutch is stronger than a valeo, good enough for 230bhp. You could always change to a Gtt 200mm and use a Gtt paddle.

I'd be interested to know for sure as I know for a fact the 5GTT/21T and all the pre-98 stuff is defo 24x21t.

Anyone confirm the later cars are different?
