This week's Autocar magazine - 24 February 2021 contains an article by Andrew Frankel on the Clio V6s. It starts off cataloguing the famed reservations with the Phase Ones, then goes on to the improvements with the Phase Two. Andrew has had Renault's Liquid Yellow Phase Two on loan and admits that "the more I drove it, the more I liked it" and "when it departed, it left behind a sense of sadness". As with all Andrew's write ups of the cars that I own, he hits the nails pretty well on the head and the article is well worth looking out,and adding to your press cuttings file. I spoke to Andrew at a classic car run some years ago and he did have good words to say about the Phase Two, he having had experience of testing and using one back in period.
