Audi S5 Show Preperation

This S5 was booked in to be detailed before a trip to Belgium for Euro Sunday.
I always prepared the owners previous car before shows so it was nice to see this one.


The previous car, if anyone remembers the threads,





The Audi came straight from having some new wheels fitted. It wasn't too dirty.














Engine bay first.
Cleaned with Auto finesse Verso. Dressed with Dressle.








Pre wash with ODK Arctic. While that was dwelling the wheels were cleaned with Verso, followed by Iron Out for good measure.





The nooks and crannies were cleaned up with Verso, the bodywork then washed with Lather.
Tardis and Iron Out to kick off the decontamination. Clayed with Bilt Hamber.


Dried off with the amazing Aqua Deluxe.





After a panel wipe, the paint was inspected.


Loads of these marks around the car. Someone must have gone at some bird bombs with a scouring pad.








This one really etched in.





Safely removed.





Then onto some polishing.





Panel wiped.





After.





Some good gloss coming through.





Soft 50/50 on the roof.





Bootlid.





After.

Rear quarter.

The entire car was then refined before 2 layers of ODK Concours.


Onto the interior.








Cleaned with Auto Finesse Hide.








Plastics and fabrics cleaned with Auto Finesse Total.








Wheels sealed with Mint Rims, tyres with Gyeon Tire.





Glass cleaned with AutoGlym polish and Auto Finesse Crystal.
Exhausts with Mercury.

















The owner sent a photo over after a heavy shower a couple of days later.

Just flicking through the first couple of pics thinking... Too much arch gap, that could do with.... Scrolled down and saw it's all sorted. Big jump from Fiesta to S5, does look nice, and the detail finishes it.
