Attendance List

... I might be getting ahead of myself, but has anyone got any knowledge of the roads down to the Montlhery? Just starting to plan routes down there.

I might stay with some friends in Folkstone, get the chunnel over on the Friday morning and have a leisurely drive down through France avoiding Paris and stay somewhere near the circuit on the Friday night. There looks to be 2 national park areas North/West of Paris. Im guessing there could be some half decent roads on the way down?

List on the first post updated.

Dan, feel free to join us all for the journey down fella! No 'great' roads that I know of on the way. Mainly I guess do to it being pretty flat. Will have a work with Mark to see if we can liven the journey up a bit.. without Nas being the main source of entertainment lol

They are building a huge long tunnel skirting the west of Paris that I had planned to use on the Mas du Clos trip but didnt due to a) it not being open at the time and b) we went on a slight diversion via Le mans. Need to check it has been completed as it may add a bit of spice to the trip.

He's fitted Spike's Janspeed now Shaun. Now goes everywhere in first gear with the windows down. It's slow and freezing but it does sound good. :)

Is there a compliment in there somewhere! [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Roads are boring nothing of interest unless you wanna avoid motorways then it could get interesting. Its a fairly straight run. There is jetwash on the main road and a 24hr mcdonalds and a 24hsupermarket petrol pump too. Although using a rhd vehicle in the mcdonalds drive thru amused the locals!!
