Is it wrong to be quite interested in doing this but getting sweaty about the mileage?

Fuck sake. Why did I buy a low miler?

Trailer it!!
Better than that, unplug the speedo sensor, left front wheel!

Im in for this but may not take the Vee! Not just because its so hard getting it on and off the boat but because we are planning a holiday in France the week after the festival so cant really do that in the vee.

Will be good to have you along Carl..! We'll almost certainly be using the tunnel to get to France, I will be anyway lol. Getting the vee on and off those boats give me the shivers..! :s

Did you know, that v6passion have organised an event at the same venue, the following wkend? They have offered secure storage for anyone during the week between the festival and their event. Just something you might want to consider, then you you could bring the vee along ;)

Is the tunnel any easier to get onto? you know how low mine is!?

Im tempted to bring it, have you got any more detail of the v6passion event?

Would mean I would have to bring 2 cars though, as would need to get around in the week between?

Will look into it for you.. or perhaps send Eastlmark a pm about the secure parking.

Mossy's car didnt have a problem for Mas du Clos, and thats looww lol I took the BG vee on the ferry for the return trip from Monaco in 2007, and although they managed to get it on without issue, I hated the thought of people squeezing past on the car deck, when i wasnt there. The tunnel, imho, is the way forward.. no stress at all, as you stay with the car for the duration of the journey. Access and exit couldnt be much easier. :)

So...given that your all over, are you up for the european road trip!??

Driving your vee !

as opposed to

Looking at your vee...

Hmm.. when was it you actually last used your car Ali..? lol

Has anyone actually signed up for this yet?

I ask because I'm going to Paris with Shaun at the weekend and I'm sending our list so far for checking before we leave.

We have 19 on the RAOC list so far but only one vee :(

If we join forces and hit 30 we could actually get a decent size marquee courtesy Renault :)

Hi Stephen.. we have 5 definite and a further 3 'to be confirmed' attendees. However, to be more specific to your question.. non of us have actually signed up as individuals to my knowledge, purely due to the fragmented way that Renault have released information. I really need to have a chat with you so get my head around it and post registration details.. hopefully we can register as a group to avoid ridiculous bank charges.

I have signed up as an individual, as have my Dad, but Im taking the Clio F1 and hes taking the the Twingo Gordini.

We paid together to make the charges cheaper.

There is a seperate registration thread below this one. Full details for registering will be posted there once we have sorted out some payment and code issues hence we have not asked any member here to register as yet and there is no hurry to do so.
Do book your hotel room though if you want somewhere to stay nearbye.

oh well, just wanted to get it booked so I knew we had a space, then I can book hotels with no worries.

I thought as I wasnt taking the vee that I would not be able to book with you lot and would have to do it seperately.

Anyway I done booked and going! :)

Im interested in coming on this trip, but have a few questions:

Do I need to sign up as an individual? Or by putting my name on this thread, do I become part of our club booking that means we are part of the exhibition village which is mentioned on the Festival renault website?

What is everyone doing for accomodation?

are people leaving their cars at the festival overnight and getting to their accomodation by other means? Im guessing once your car is in, you cant get out again until its finished?

Sorry for all the questions!

Cheers
Dan
