What happened to Lunar Grey - Mars Red low mileage and no salt....?????? :s

Took your advise about worrying about the rain and wind and stuff ...

No ... really. I Sold my Lotus 11 replica and need a toy that can do a tarmac rally now and then as well.... thought a cheaper vee would tick all my boxes ....

When I had my Type 25 Elise, I never felt I was pushing the car hard enough , worrying about stone chips etc in a rally ...

Mate of mine bought an ex race Exige, with stone chips and previous body damage .... we have had a few fun rallies in that, and resprayed it recently.

You sort of dont worry toooo much, when you know the car was not perfect to start with ....

Anyway ....Just looking at options ....for this price I could re-spray the car any colour I wanted ...

BTW ...I found a great Luna Grey car, 11,000 miles all leather interior ..... just working on organising insurance with my young friend in London .... seems a tough job getting insurance for a 22year old ex Aussie .....and he also has just lost his job and getting another job is proving tough as well ....
All my dreams my fall over in trying to import a car ....

fingers crossed

I think most of us on here would agree that unless you have a bottomless pit for a wallet, you'd be rallying a Vee very much on tender hooks. TRUST ME....small things on V6 Clio's cost a bloody fortune!!! I found out last week that the front PLASTIC undertray costs £750!! Thats something that will be pretty likely to crack on a gravely road at speed. My advise would be to rally something with steel body panels and not quite so likely to turn around backwards when you run out of grip and steering lock. If not, your a very very brave man [smilie=bowdown.gif]

Yeah .....
I agree with all comments ....

Mind you, I dont do serious rally stuff, but you can still get it all wrong in a corner ....

And I think I will stay away from damaged cars as well .......

thanks

So true. And that's here in the UK. Running / servicing a Vee in Oz ?? When there are only 2 in the whole country ?? You would need to be VERY rich.
