Hi all,
Ok, I have this Clio that has developed a very annoying fault, every now and again when the key goes in it fails to start, sometimes there is nothing at all (almost like there is no battery on the car) and sometimes it will turn for about 5 revolutions then stop, other times it will start first time. Yesterday it did it every time I got in the car yet this morning it started first time! I thought it may be the immobilizer as sometimes the light on the dash flashes faster than usual when the key is in so I spoke to a firm that deals with bypasses but he suggested that it may not be that. Sometimes the light is static with the key in and it will start and sometimes with the same static light it wont start. I also thought that it may be the battery in the key so changed that and still the same. Im just about at the end of my tether with it as its such an intermittent fault it cant be diagnosed properly. Has anyone got any ideas?
