Alpine Under Seat Sub

Hi Chaps

Been a long time. I hope you are well and looking after your Vees. Apologies if this i not in the right section but I no longer have a full membership as I sold my car 4 years ago. I have been going through my loft and I found a few V6 bits. I wanted to message James directly but that functionality no longer seems available to non members.

I have an Alpine Swe1000 under seat sub which I had in my Vee which I am looking to sell and I figured the V6 owners would be the best place as it fits perfectly under the passenger seat.

Can one of you kind souls potentially post an advert for me on the Sale section.

Thanks

Phil

When I recently renewed my membership... it cost next to nothing. Check out the ‘shop section’ to confirm whether that is the case.

I’ve never used the car audio in 15 year of V6 ownership. I don’t think many other folks do either. 255bhp in a hatchback bodied car was unheard of in 2004, whereas 300+bhp is commonplace in 2020.
The Vee’s redeeming feature is the unique sonorous experience of the ‘engine in the cabin’ exemplified by the design. There remains nothing quite like it.

On that basis, you might struggle to find a buyer - but you never know! GLWTS

Hi Phil,

Anyone interested will read this post, I will leave it here.

Full forum access membership changed. It is just £1.00 now.

I was coaxed into having loads of fancy stereo stuff put in my Vee, but very seldom turned the thing on. :race:

Post copied to Sales forum.

Hi James

I hope all is well. Apologies as I didn't realise the cost of renewal.
I thought I would offer it to you guys and girls as it was a nice addition to the V6 system and so easy to fit. It sat nicely flat on the floor behind the passenger seat and gave the bass to match the rest of the system. This is not a window rattling sub but more a complement to the rest of the sound. I don't know much about these but I can't imagine there are many that fit in a Vee so thought it might be for someone here.

I took a picture next to a can to give you an idea of size. I have all the cables needed and it comes with a small remote to adjust volume and depth of the bass. I stuck mine down the side of my seat on the centre tunnel and it could not be seen. It didn't compete with the Spike exhaust I fitted to the car but was good when stuck in traffic. :) I only want £50 for it as I have no use for it now and its gathering dust. This is not an involved sound system upgrade, it is a 30 minute job to someone with a bit of knowledge.

I noticed on the register the new owner hasn't claimed 207 yet. Hope its still in one piece.

Hi mate hope you’re alright? Long time since that trip to rescue you’re Vee! Be good to catch up. I still haven’t my six cd changer in my Vee! But you kind of reminded me to check it out tomorrow! Nas :race:
