I wonder how far down the road we'll be with EV, before we realise it will not work..........It's A solution not THE solution. Why have none of the major manufacturers came up with something other than odd announcements in odd places that's worth a look, Why have none of them taken a crack at a proper hybrid. The electric motor is a good idea, it's the method of getting power to it that is sadly lacking.....
