Alignment questions

Hi all,

I am a MK1 Vee noob from HK.
Just got mine few weeks ago, I had put some fresh tires on and along with an alignment last week. Then I take a quick drive enjoying the new tires and then back home.
Anyways, I finally got the time to read the print out of the alignment, and it is saying that they have used a Clio III data.

The camber from left to right isnt really equal(front left -.54 deg and fr is -1.10 deg, rear left is -1.52 deg and rear right is -1.26 deg) for the current measurements.

Toes are both zero for front and both 0.18 deg for rear.
Left caster is 5.38 deg and 4.14 deg for right.

I called up and ask, they said, the camber/caster arent adjustable. So is this correct?

Also, using the wrong data from a Clio III to my Vee isnt a good measure for the alignment too right?

I will be glad if someone can host my alignment sheet if possible.

Quite a long post, please gimme some comments...then i will head back and ask for a realignment....

umm just read the manual, those arent adjustable...
so, do you guys think my alignment is a bit weird?

also i have fitted 215/45/17 and 245/40/17 on my car, now it rubs whenever the steering is on the right most position =(
gets me annoyed in parking lots...

Thanks, I have looked at that info before.

Just one point that I do not understand, if the camber/caster isnt adjustable, how can we adjust them back to factory specs that is on that pdf?

thanks all, damn, that V3 looks so good....those arent externally adjustable with a knob though right?

on the wiki page, i assume both of those settings are for the MK2 with stock suspension?

the camber angles has been changed after the alignment, those are done by the elongate holes?
just wondering, are elongate holes available on our MK1 shocks?

Thanks for the patience guys, appreciate it

thanks guys, i had appointment tomorrow for alignment, i will let k1ano :approve: post the alignment sheet up after!

Will be interested to see how they get on with the camber adjustment. My rear camber is currently outside of spec, and slightly uneven between sides. Has no noticeable effect on handling, but I need to get it sorted.

Where they adjust the camber on my V6 it's fully seized on the drivers side, they tried to heat it to expand and loosen, tried for about 2 hours to get it to move with no luck.

Now appears I need to jack car up, take wheel and subframe off and remove the arm to put it in a vice to try and free or something?

My tracking got thrown out originally as needed to hammer the hell out the wheel from the back to get it off in first place. It's a nightmare never known a car to be so hard to work on.

In all i'll have spent over 10+ hours taking a wheel off for a tyre change and adjusting the camber. It's a joke and an awful design so many flaws.

To get wheel off, drive to local car park, let tyre down and call A.A. or R.A.C.

Produce spare, job done !!!!!!!!!!!
