On eBay this is the type if thing I'm talking about, depends on whether high or low pressure line as they different sizes, but you should be able to get one foe either from a good aircon repair company , it's no more than a Simple pluming job to cut pipe and install this in place as they are compression fittings
This pipe is for this purpose so should be no problem and prob more durable that the oem joints at that point in the system.
