Clio Aftermarket Filters & Heat Soak

I’ve had FI cars previously, and they seem to have suffered with heat soak, only using a foam Cone and air feed etc. Even with a heat shield.

But it seems to be the norm with a 200t, to use a (for example) Pipercross Foam Cone.
Is it less of an issue with these Clios?
Running a DIY cold air feed and foam cone?

Is it worth the extra £160 for the ITG?

Thanks in advance [emoji4]

I read that too... pretty impressive.

I just wonder if that’s all to do with the bellhousing, or if a new filter, cold air feed and some kind of diy heat shield may hit similar figures?

Heat soak is only really a big issue at slower speeds really, the blast of air from the front of the car is pretty strong at speed. Just dont put your filter behind the rad, obviously!
