ABS not working

you can remove them easily enough with big hammer, but you *will* break them

I seem to recall renault quoting me over £250 for a pair of front sensors

I'll look it up on dialogys in a mo

as for passing an MOT with the fuse/bulb removed... it technically shouldn't, but everyone seems to :D
 
faaack.

Tested the valver tonight and the ABS light definately does not go out when the engine is started.

Looks like i'll be disabling ABS then lol.

Will have a look to see if there's anything obvious that might fix it...
What actually happens to the sensors? can you clean them to get them working or anything??
 
they are hall effect sensors i think and just tend to fail after so many years use.

not sure why the abs sensors are so much more than the crank sensors though which are very similar items... :?
