ABS Light On

Hi,

I was driving the Vee the other day, and on my return journey I started the engine to find that my ABS light was on and the SERV light was also on.

I tried the ECU soft reset (using the stalk button & ignition) but the 2 lights were still on.

Now the car drives fine (obviously I haven't tested to see if the ABS is still working LOL) but does anyone know what the issue might be?

Thanks,
Phil.

a guess is that you have a faulty wheel sensor, that could be water in the connector. if the speedo works it's not the nsf as this provides the pulse for the clocks. clean the connectors and if that don't work get it scanned, it will save you a headache in the long run.

I had a fault on one last year. Turned out that something had knocked it fractionaly out of alignment. It disables the ABS in doing so.
