A notification system??

One feature I really like about the Cliosport forum is the ability to alert a certain user by mentioning them in a topic,

For example if I wanted Matt to see something I was replying I would put

@matt, then what I wanted to say and he would recieve an email alerting him to the thread or post..

Could this be implimented on here?

Yea, it's a nice idea. Works on cliosport due to amount of users and posts though. Not that many on here to look through. Handy though to flag something to someone.

The new yet to be released forum will have a notification based on someone quoting your post. There is no @name system available at present, but it's early days I guess.
