There had been rumblings over the weekend that 2* 991 GT3RS's (1 lava, 1 silver), a 997.2 3.8 GT3RS (navy blue with gold decals), a Yellow Cayman GT4 and a 991R on German Plates were doing the rounds around the Cairngorms in Scotland, possibly for Top Gear Magazine....
Well, low and behold when I went for a drive out to Knockhill tonight to watch the evening trackday for a bit, there were all there in a quiet area being lined up for professional pics, along with a rather plush transporter to take them all away again - I'm guessing that they will have a rather nice feature in the magazine of tracktime at knockhill in due course (much like the hot hatch one they did in Sept/Oct last year)
The guys were clearly very busy, I parked a little away to show consideration and asked nicely if I could take a couple of quick pics, which they very kindly allowed me to do so. I was so excited about the 911R, I never bothered with the other ones lol,
With only 30 destined for the UK market, it may be the only time I actually see one!
