4k idle lol

ok can anybody list all the possiblities why a car would idle at 4k please ie which sensors and so forth

when does it do it and under what conditions, mine did it other week all the time, iscv plug had come off

ive got about 4 sitting at my garage lol, engines not been started for a while, u rekon that coukd be the problem then lads?

mine did this after a long drive.. suspected the ISCV and the connector on the top had come loose.. just popped it back on and was fine again.

defo the iscv stuck open. one why to find out is to remove the pipe that goes from the filter to the iscv and put your fininger or thumb over the hole on the iscv and if it sucks like my bitch then its the problem.

mine did this when the inlet manifold gasket had gone it was horrible!

I still cant locate what my problem is! Must be ISCV! I might just buy a new one and hope :lol:
