Oh I need to see this matey! It'll do????........its good for about 900-1000bhp!!!! Alot of people use them in Sweden, Finland, Norway etc on BMW's and they are bonkers. Mine was originaly destined for a UR Quattro i promised myself.

Yes agree, throw the v6 engine away and fit a cossie or evo turbo engine etc. - has had my vote for years, be good to see a non vee approach :-)

Is this like the VR6 engine Brett with slightly offset bores cramming 6 cylinders into a smaller space ?

By my understanding, the R32 and R36 engines have slightly different bank angle compared to the VR6 engines because they had a tendancy to produce oval shaped bores after X ammount of miles. Off the top of my head VW made the R36 with a completly different bore and stroke. Maybe to keep the same Bore/Stroke ratio as the ultra reliable 3.2 set up??
