400 mile Vee on PH

WOW!! That makes all the other low milers look like daily hacks!! Did notice however no mention of the ubiquitous belts for the 'recommissioning' in 2018 as it was last serviced in 2009, that would worry me more due to lack of use than a car that was used regularly.

Poor thing, basically a waste of a car that nobody will ever get to enjoy.

Piffle..

Who’s to say the current owner hasn’t enjoyed looking at it.. and I dare say he’ll very much enjoy spending £60k on another toy. [smilie=yay.gif]

Who’s enjoying the cars that were written off with a few hundred miles on..?

People take satisfaction and joy from cars in different ways eh.. :approve:

Beautiful car in incredible condition.. and in a gorgeous colour. Love it..!

Shame about the wheels... ;)

I wouldn’t even worry about belts being done with that mileage I’d buy it and look at it.!!! Superb in every way [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]

Nice to see this car revealed as I’m sure it’s the one which a few of us had heard about over 10 years ago - basically a black gold bought and stored near Chester. Nice appreciation in value on the purchase price and a super example of course.

Ay-up Martin...!

Haha.... I thought exactly the same thing! Mentioned it to Brett yesterday. Doesn’t it look fantastic. Perfection...

Hope you’re well mate!

I drove half its total miles in business miles in my Vee on Monday/Tuesday this week alone! With my older two back from Uni for the summer, they keep needing my usual daily hack, and so the Vee gets to earn its annual insurance/tax costs in sunny weekday miles!

Totally agree, looks stunning, I wouldnt drive it! just looking at it whenever you want, and knowing you own it would be enough,
Going to be controversial here!
If you had £60,000 spare, would you spend it on a V6?

I hate to say this but I’d happily spend £60k on a V6. Personally, I’d expect that budget to facilitate a colour of my choice and a Leigh Tann / SGM makeover... obviously this BG is ready to go.

Superb! :approve:

Nice to see a non-ID colour in an as-new condition.............wonder whether Andrew S. still has his Illiad Blue that had covered only 80 miles from new.

There's a load of really good photos of this car here: link

Useful for historical reference of what they were like from new.

I just spotted it on eBay....

Lot of money. Does make me wonder what mine is worth?

Ian

Its worth a place in your heart and a place in your garage. That's all.......

It is literally 10 minutes down the road from me. Might have to go check it out.

They have a couple of nice 993’s too [emoji1303]

Deposit has been taken, looks like it’s sold unless the deal falls through!

Wonder what the final price was!
