#298 Mars Red Phase 2 with 4K miles....

Stunning car but is it really missing the point only doing 266 miles a year?!?

As much as I want to see the marquee appreciate in status & value, there’s something that grates with all these low mileage examples.

My current illiad is on 47k & rising. My old Acid was on 35k back in 2010.

I think there’s some symbiosis with these Uber low mile examples commanding strong money. It bumps up perception of values meaning that the ‘properly used’ ones show zero or negative depreciation. Not a bad little arrangement for those who like to enjoy.

I always thought sub 20k miles was low on collectable cars... but Vees have opened my eyes to a whole new meaning of low mileage.

Ha, in Lotus land 20K miles is considered to be bordering on high mileage, or at least that is how it is for post-2008 cars!

Good thing Vees haven't got to that stage, yet...but wonder when, and how, that perception will change.

Having bought a lowish (25K) Vee four years ago , I vowed never to buy a low mileage car again. You can't have fun driving while looking at the odometer. Latest aquisition has 113K
