Spotted this parked up at the track day event today (lots of crowds and lots of cars, I guess because of Breakfast Club tomorrow.
Anyway, spotted a 230. Reg : 3IGHT
Ended up leaving at same time and he signalled to pull over in a lay by.
Had a good chat, plaque 44, owned from new. He turned out to be the ex chief instructor at Goodwood. I asked him how come he had stuck with it for so long...."I've driven some amazing machinery around Goodwood, but I can't even think of anything I would want to replace the V6 with, there's nothing better than it".
His name was George I think, he told me his last name but I've forgotten it and Google not bringing anything up.
He'd added harnesses and also put lumps of lead strapped to somewhere forward on the subframe. Said it gained him a good bit of time around Goodwood.
Also, he did the Corsica tarmac rally in it he said.
Nice Chap but not a member.
