Since having my meglio, I’ve had this issue through out and chatted to others which ended up with a mix bag of answers, even spoke to afew of you about this and it’s still hit or miss so just want to try and finalise my thoughts about it before I sell mine next year.
Basically, had my meglio mapped several times by efi each time I changed something. Seems that each time I hit the limiter the ignition cuts for afew seconds, sometimes longer. Scoff seams to think that the ph1 225/Clio 200 ecu that I’ve got doesn’t handle +20psi well. Others say that their megane 225 (ph1/ph2) have had this same issue for ages and just live with it. Someone mentioned that changing the valve springs helped. Chris at benniesport said that it’s a 50/50 chance it happens once the megane ecu is mapped.
I kinda remember this on the odd megane 225/r26’s I’ve driven in the past however I don’t want to put my Clio up for sale and put potential buyers off if this isn’t a regular problem through out.
What’s your thoughts??
