20k Cat D on Ebay

At a glance that looks good, maybe an £18K car.

I'm not one for picking holes in anyone's car or trying to belittle them but on closer inspection something doesn't look quite right about the front end and how the headlights sit. This photo shows what I mean the best:

Mine certainly doesn't have panel gaps like this, but maybe I'm wrong?

It looks like the headlight is sitting as flush with the bonnet line as possible, which isn't usually the case. Can you adjust the position of the headlights much because there does seem to be a slight difference looking from car to car. Also missing the 'tabs' that would be at the bottom left of that light, possibly exaggerating the gap that's underneath the light.

Cracked fog, faded grills, missing center caps and misty headlights. Looks like one of those cars that, from an aesthetic perspective at least, would need some money spent on annoyingly expensive bits of plastic!

Those aren’t the correct headlights anyway are they? To my eyes they don’t appear to be the Xenon items i’ve seen on every other Phase II. I would normally share p4cks opinion of not wanting to pick holes in other’s cars or belittle them but i’d just thought I would mention it in case any prospective buyer reads this thread.
It’s been a long time since I bought my car and prices have obviously changed significantly since then but I can’t help feeling the asking price is a bit steep, but maybe i’m out of touch with what the going rate is now.

If you look at the top of the wing at the a post it is sitting wrong with the bonnet misaligned as well, the whole front end needs stripping and realigning as well as repainting for the stone chips all over, easily done but won’t be cheap, especially if other gremlins come out the woodwork

I was looking at a couple of cars they have in stock.

Might pop down in the V6 to compare [emoji23]
