I now have the registration forms for anyone interested in taking part in the 2008 Histoire & Collection Trophee programme. For those who dont know, this is an official Renault programme designed to reward those who make the effort to attend shows and events and each car will be awarded points for each event attended. Currently for our cars this will be 8 points (10 for a spider 
) but as there are 3 events in the UK this year it means you would only need to undertake one other European event to gather enough points to win a Bronze award. For this you would be invited to the end of years awards ceremony (usually held at Renault Square Com in Billancourt, Paris but always TBA until nearer the time) where Rene Arnoux or some other famous individual will call you up on stage, stick a microphone under your nose and show up just how bad your French is before handing you your hard earned trophee. (was glass but last years were perspex). Its a lot of expense and effort to attend these shows but its nice to know Renault do make an effort to reward you and appreciate your efforts.

27th April 5L Le Mans (only for pre 1969 cars)
3rd – 4th May Rallye AMAG Macon entry by invite only
3rd-4th May WSR Belgium – Spa
24th – 25th May Prescott ‘La Vie en Bleu 2’ UK entry by invite only
7th – 8th June WSR UK – Silverstone
15th June Bromley Pageant UK
5th – 6th July WSR Hungary
11th – 13th July Le Mans Classic
30th – 31st August WSR Germany – Nurburgring
6th – 7th September WSR France – Le Mans
27th – 28th September WSR Portugal – Estoril
18th – 19th October WSR Spain – Barcelona
Please note that Renault are tightening up the quality controls this year and also limiting the numbers, Perfect, original and un modded cars are likely to be selected and if you want to sit there all day showing off your sound system- forget it!
Note also that registering will not automaticly get you entry passes to these events, you will still have to complete the entry form for each event as normal but once registered you should recieve these forms through the post.

If you are not intending to go for the trophee then dont bother registering for this, dont worry you will still be able to attend the Silverstone event by registering nearer the time.
