Lankan

Active Member
2001 RENAULT CLIO SPORT V6

Estimate (£) 18,000 - 22,000

"Initially supplied new in LHD to the Netherlands. Imported to the UK from Japan in 2016"

"Blank original service book but with no entries and pouch and invoices. Letter from the Club Registrar confirming the car was built for the Netherlands and supplied there new. 2 Keys and two key fobs present."

Obviously known to the club. [mention=1292,#2b2b2b]Duncan[/mention], which one is it?

this is [v6plaque]681[/v6plaque], imported by the same chap who previously imported [v6plaque]403[/v6plaque]

The action site states that [v6plaque]681[/v6plaque] sold for £21,870, which I presume would include the 8% buyer's premium + VAT on that premium. If not, then the total price paid would be close to £24K.

Doe’s this mean Phase 1’s will eventually be the most sort after model? After all theres not many Mk1 cars out there that are not the most desirable, some people are just in denial ;)

That’s a very cheap price for a LHD, I wouldn’t be surprised if this shows up on the continent very shortly.

21.870 doesn t include 9,6% premium. So final price is close to 24.000 GBP (around
good price for EU continent LHD but, considering for example around 1000 euros more for transport to i.e. Italy in my case, + fees for registration and plates (1000 euros aprox in italy) , price will finish equivalent or very close to Continent cars. IMHO

The cheapest ph1 I can find in France is 29,000 Euro, so your right, roughly comparable once exported, but - that particularly car looks particularly rough and double the mileage. It seems to be another 6/7k till you find an average conditioned car in France and good ones are circa 40k+.

Just had a look in Italy, Phase 1's are 50k+ thats crazy!!
