I'm affraid i'm going to have to drop out lads, not looking forward to make the trip on my own and nobody is willing to join me unfortunately....

just checked the calander, its alot closer than i though, 7 days of work left before then and 9 days off, sounds alot of time but its not. got loads to do on the car and still need to sort out a tent and stuff. Tempted to maybe find a hotel close by, unless there are full and decent facilities at the camp site?

The campsite has showers , bogs , car circuit ..

You will only be on your own from Netherlands to the port. There are loads of us coming up from the South of England ..

Yeah come on Tut! Depending on when you're looking to travel over, you can come join a Convoy?

@Chris Smith is travelling from Kent (Near Calais) then you & he will have to pass me in Peterborough.. I'm going to France on my own in 2 weeks

Then you can collect me around Doncaster and we can travel the last 100m* or so to the circuit



* meters, not miles ..

Or if you CBA driving go from Zebrugge to Hull ..

Cool, i have to get the youth from school at 2.30, head home pick the 5 up and head down.

Tested the sleeping bag out this evening, plenty of room, should be warm to. Managed to get it back in the bag easily enough aswell.

Looked at a double, but ended up getting an old fashioned square one... My old mummy sleeping bag must have shrunk over the years.... Honestly I haven't got bugger since I was 18

Hhmmm, might be tempted mate, i'd really love to go, have no problems with driving either but being in the car for 4 hours, then minimal 2 hours on the boat etc is just plain boring. Not to mention the costs involved in doing it all on my own....

i can meet at hull if you come over. then down to donny. All depending on what time you get in etc

Hull is about €250 single trip so i rather prefer the €100 return ticket for dover en enjoy driving the country tbh

Think Chris might have changed my mind....
