Hi Guys
Sadly my beloved Renault 19 Chamade has failed its MOT and even though it's not too much to get it going again (see failure list below) my current situation means I should really let it go.
I've owned the car since 17 November 2004! so it is really difficult to let it go. I only covered 157miles in it last year and I guess being stood outside has finally caught up with it. (my fault I know) 108903 Miles on the clock. Engine runs very clean as proved by the MOT emissions results.
MOT failures
001 brake pipe inadequately clipped offside rear
002 windscreen washer provides insufficient water liquid nearside
003 windscreen washer provides insufficient water liquid offside
004 Exhaust system not adequately supported rear section (hangers perished)
005 Steering rack gaiter split nearside
006 Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded nearside rear
007 Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded offside rear
008 Brakes imbalanced accross rear
As you can see most are simple jobs apart from the welding which is why I'm finally letting it go.
Here's a couple of pictures but please see the link to view plenty more

My 1990 Renault 19 Chamade TSE 1.4
I would like to get £100 for the car to be resurrected or parted out by someone instead of scrapping it for a similar amount
If it doesn't sell I'll remove the original front yellow fogs and some other nice bits and scrap the rest but I don't want to do that really.
The car is located in Bournemouth and has its old MOT until the 16th May so could be driven away for the next couple of days. I am not currently working so could maybe drive the car to a potential buyer if it was a sensible distance away.
In the boot there is a new rubber gaiter for the clutch fork, a pedal assembly ratchet mech and of course as it's a Phase 1 19 a replacement clutch cable just in case!
Please drop me a message if you're interested.
Rob
