18 months and my first problem

And it's a common one, the reversing lights aren't working so I'm guessing it's the switch. It could well have been faulty for a while as I only noticed it tonight when coming home from work in the dark now the nights are pulling in.

Is the switch common to other Renaults and so could be kept in stock? I don't want to drop the car off for them to have to order the part in meaning an extra trip for me to the dealers.

John ... it's a 10 minute job for them to fit the new one. Might be worth you trying to convince them to order a switch in ... and then make your only visit to the dealers be the one where they quickly fit the switch whilst you wait.

Yep, I did a search before I posted and realised what a common problem it was. Must be a close second to the coils.
