1.9 diesel engine differences

What's the difference between an 1.9 diesel engine in a 19 and one in a clio?

Why do they have a different cambelt?

I would bet on the position of some auxiliary being different, that would probably need a different teeth number on the belt.
but dont have dialogys installed right now, can't confirm that.

the injection pump.. one of the auxiliaries I was talking about.

different IPs or mounting brackets = different timing belt

I prefer bosh VE injection pumps, there are loads of proven tweaks and cheap parts available for them.

you get lucas or bosch pumps neal.

The pumps have different pulley sizes and thus theres also 2 sets of crank and cam pulleys

in fact i think its just the length, the pulleys are the same. I'm thinkign of other engines
