tyres

Hi all, Basically I'd like to put tyres on some alloy's and am looking for minimum tyre wall i.e so to look as slimline as possible, i find less tyre means it emphasis's the alloys, does anyone know what i'd need, whats available or what i can down to? currently I have 205/40 R17 on 17x7...

What size and type are your tyres? I am currently running on Goodyear NCT 185 60 13, but the front can feel a little light at times, maybe due to the increase in profile height over std tyres? Accordinly to the link below the affect on the rolling radius is minimal...

steel wheels or alloys. after a set. looks not important. tyres are. not bother about tread so long as it can move a car 50 or so yard's. Will pick up near sheffield. Chance to get rid of any crap 13" wheels etc you may have.

I'm replacing my wheels and tyres this Spring. I've found some wheels I'd like but not sure on what tyres to go for. Toyos seem to be everywhere and there's a few versions. Are Toyo T1-S OK, and is there anything I should be looking for? (other than the name :roll:) size likely 195/15...

Car is nearly ready for its MOT. Been doing restoration project on a budget. One wheel has an illegal tyre, looking for a cheap (or free!!! :) ) wheel with good tyre. Or a set of 2 or 4 wheels, then I can keep a set for snow tyres. Anyone got any kicking round they wouldn't mind parting...

3 trackdays and my lovely Toyo's are finished. What shall I replace them with? Is there anything available at a similar price that'll grip as well but last a little longer? Do semi-slicks last longer on track.... Toyo 888's? Incidentally, just replaced the tyres on my E39 and they cost me...
