Can anyone tell me if the left driveshaft and cv joints from a clio 172 is the same as the one on a clio williams? Someone told me they are the same, and i could use one from a 172

As some of you know ive got the rough williams out this year for a bit whilst i cant be arsed to change my 172 gearbox but ive got quite alot of oil smoke it would seem under load at high revs, are you thinking what im thinking/ Rings????

I can remember someone making a thread on here about fitting the R19 gearbox to subframe mount onto a Mk1 clio. Could someone link it to me please, i cant find it. Im looking into fitting one on my clio to stop the engine flexing so much. Cheers
