gearbox

What is it for?

Had driveshaft/cv joint failure, and also found my circlip had popped, fitted new circlip and fitted new driveshaft but with it in gear it doesnt hold the shafts from turning...so im finding it really hard to tighten the hub nut up. I presume this is down to the circlip, but as i havent...

right my circlip has gone for the 3rd time in a year on my valver... and im stuck what to do with it? i have orded to more washers dont no weather one welded into the box have is going to be any good ? or will i need a new box and weld one in that!! and does anyone no can it be welded...

A nice chunk broke out of my gearbox on Friday :cry:. Have a spare 16v one but if anyone knows of a JC5 (i think) please let me know. I'd also settle for a cheap diesel box. Cheers.

I'm selling the gearbox from my phase 1 R19 16v. It's a 1991 box so slightly longer ratios than the later ones and a higher theoretical top end. Perfect working order, only removed to make way for the F7R + JC5 during my 2 litre conversion. Just over 70,000 miles covered. Get in touch via PM...
