VW Golf GT - Pre-Sale Deep Clean

This MK5 Golf GT170 was brought in to bring it back up to a standard where it could be put up for sale.
The owner only had the car as an economic way of driving himself and 2 dogs to Portugal a few times a year and just sits around between trips.
Since taking ownership, the car hasn’t been washed, dusted or hoovered out… it was pretty nasty.
The order of the detail:
Full safe wash and decontamination.
Engine bay tidy up.
Enhancement Detail - single stage machine polish.
Interior deep clean - full shampoo, team clean and wet extraction.
Onto the car.

A squirrel had made a little nest behind the under bonnet sound deadening.

The headlights weren’t part of the plan, but they were too bad to let them go. I didn’t pend too much time on them so they are far from prefect - but good enough to be able to see at night.

The bonnet was especially bad. Bird bombs had been removed with a scouring pad by the looks of things.

2 machine polishing stages were used to make a nice improvement.

And all deep cleaned. The car will be vacuumed out once more when the carpets and seats are dry.

The owner wasn’t interested in any sort of protection on the car, but I couldn’t send it out bare.
Two coats of Waxed Junkies Tropical Hybrid were applied - this is such an underrated wax!
The end result.

Thanks for reading
Richard.

Holyfuckingshitbags!!! That’s awesome! Great job @detailR!!! Easily added £££ to the price of that car

Its not the same car @Big Steve - Raider thats why @detailR has covered up the numberplates. Its the only thing I can think of.

Looks mega, what did u use on the seats ?

Thanks very much guys

@JonnyGee the seats took a lot of scrubbing followed by wet vacuuming. They were steam cleaned too just to finish off any other bacteria.

Came out really well
