PU (Polyurethane) Bushes R21 Turbo Quadra Rear

Hello Everyone,

I have found a company that can make PU Bushes for me.

I have designed bushes for the renault 21 turbo quadra.

For now it is possible to order bushes for:
The rear wishbone (quadra)
The front wishbone (only cast iron)

I need a least 5 orders to make this a succes.

If this turns out oke then I can also make bushes for:

  • The rear droplink
  • The front sheet metal
  • The rear subframe beam
  • Other

The prices are:

  • Rear quadra wishbone 23,75 per bush 47,50 per vehicle set. 2sets required.
  • Front wishbone (cast iron) 23,75 per bush 47,50 per vehicle set. 2sets required

Al bushes come with stainless inserts. It is possible to choose between different hardnesses: Shore 95A, 80A and 70A and they will all have there own color.

Is there any interresed for this? I need at least 5 people for this to start up.

Maybe someone can make a list?

Thank you.

@Rob21tq You are more than welcome to start a list mate on this post. Just keep adding people as they request the parts.
If you are going to co ordinate this I would strongly recommend that you take a deposit or better still full payment for the items so people cannot back out and you end up with lots of kits

Interested in the Quadra rear bushes please. I already have some fronts so just rears for me

Regards the hardness, I presume its the same rating as wheels for skates, I use a few between 74a and 82a. I wouldn’t suggest using the 70a as probably not much different to std, and 90a will be rock hard, more like plastic.
Just food for thought.

Hopefully without sounding too stupid - what about the Powerflex bushes that are available for the front wishbones?

I could well be interested in the rear bushes for the Quadra too.

IIRC in another thread I saw he was making these because he doesnt like powerflex.

We need to remember that the ARB’s over here can be 23mm or 21mm fittings though.

Why do we have to be difficult!
Why were they supplied with different sizes? &, short of measuring them, is there any way to tell based on age or phase of the car?

Don’t know.

No.

Brilliant! Guess I will be getting these ordered when I finally get the car apart then!

Okay guys,

In what hardness does everyone want these?

I’m open to recommendations. Anything is better than the 26 year old ones on there now

Ha ha I was thinking the same Dave…could be up for a full set for me

The 80A hardness is more for average road use, where the 95A hardness is more for sport and circuit use.

The 70A hardness is more for subframe mounds etc.

For now I have:

DaveL485 (rear)
Quadrastu (rear)

I’ll go for a set of 80A Quadra rear bushes.

95A for me please.

I’m interested in the Quadra rear ones, shore 80 please!

Where have you been…we need updates on the car!!!

Really busy lately. But I do have some news on the Plague, some good and some bad ones. I’ll try to find the time to write soon!

Have you had time yet Mister?

Yeah hurry up
